The I Can! Challenge is Back!

As we gear up for the holiday bustle and prepare to celebrate a new year, Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) South Central PA is getting ready to launch the 2011 I Can! Challenge! Starting the first week of January, AF4Q South Central PA will conduct classroom challenges in Gettysburg and York, and offer individuals the chance to participate online, or with friends or co-workers.

Similar to the last I Can! Challenge, participants will be guided through a 12-week, step-by-step program and learn how to set goals, partner with their doctor, incorporate healthy eating and exercise into their life, and much more! This year’s Challenge will feature more resources, worksheets and incentives to encourage people to keep going, and improve their health.

Additional classroom challenges will be offered in May and September 2011. Interested participants can call 1-866-997-ICAN (4226) for details. A minimal fee will be charged for classroom challenges, but the money will be returned at the end of the 12-week program, if completed successfully.

Instructors, Stacy Ropp, RN and AF4Q South Central PA’s Project Director, Christine Amy will be leading the York Challenge.
